This is for Featured Stamper Challenge honoring Melody known as Lacyquilter. My craft room doubled as a quest room while our adult kids were here for their Christmas visit. While I did not have access to my creative space, I was gazing at Melody's gallery all week and could not wait to case her cards. I was sad to see our kids leave but now I have my room back.
Two cards stuck out to me so I combined them. Melody made a beautiful gap card and although I have not made one in a long time, I was inspired to give it a go again.
I embossed two butterflies and watercolored them. One was cut around to create the two white panels connected by the butterfly wings. The second butterfly was cut out and attached on the body with the wings popped up. I was also drawn to this card which gave me the idea of how to use the open space on the two panels.

Oh wow Diane, this is such a beauty! I adore the colors you used and how you combined Melody's wonderful butterfly gap card with the fun flowers from the other card. Since I have my acetate out, I may have to follow your suit here my friend... Fun! ~Karen.
